Responsibilities:
-Maintain essential IT operations, including technical support, applications, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, hardware and network issues.
Handle business-critical IT tasks and system improvements.
-Research and evaluate emerging technologies, hardware, and software
Serve as the subject-matter expert supporting Windows, and widely used software and applications, such as Microsoft, Adobe, and Google Workspace
Analyze staff needs, identify vulnerabilities, and boost efficiency and accuracy
-Execute systems and network design, documentation, implementation, testing, and administration, and ensure components meet business needs and work together seamlessly
-Implement applications and software upgrades and troubleshoot any performance issues
-Train staff on IT systems in using software and hardware, and provide technical support when needed
-Collaborate with healthcare professionals to understand their IT needs and provide technical solutions
-Monitor system performance and security, identifying and addressing potential risks or vulnerabilities
-Maintain accurate records of IT assets, licenses, and service agreements.
Stay up-to-date on advancements in healthcare technology and IT best practices
-Ability to maintain confidentiality of company information
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
-4-5 years of experience in IT support, preferably in a healthcare setting.
-Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
-Experience with healthcare-specific IT systems, such as Electronic Medical *Records (EMR) and Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS).
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Certifications such as Microsoft+, Network+, or Security+ are a plus.
